December 31st. Ugh, I truly love this day. A long time ago I use to fear this date because I was so focused on which party I was going to be invited to.  But that all changed on this day is 2013, as I rode through the beautiful Austrian Alps by train, and as I passed by all the little villages and mountains on my 7 hour journey to Salzburg. This journey made this day one of the  best days of my life. And  on this day in 2014, I woke with the same excitement that I had a year before. I was awake at 3am with excitement running so much through my veins that there was no chance for me to fall back asleep. By 5am the tent alarm went off and my mom and I jumped out of bed to get ready for this amazing day ahead of us.
