This past weekend I had the chance to visit one of my favorite cities in Canada, the beautiful city of Ottawa. I had the privilege of going to university in Ottawa, and I truly do mean that it was a privilege. It is definitely a large city but with a small town feel with gorgeous green space all around. This time around I didn’t get to go visit our beautiful parliament buildings, or go for a bike ride down the Rideau Canal, and I did not even get to party at my favorite local pub I’ve been going to since I was 19 years old(shout out to the Heart and Crown!). To Travel Guide, Or Not To Travel Guide: That is The Question

Travelers come in all different shapes and sizes, health and fitness levels, and each and every one of them has the own personality and preference. So why should it be expected that we all travel the same way? I’m here to tell you it’s okay to stray away from those travel guides, visit or don’t visit as many museums and art galleries that you want, and that its 100% fine to go somewhere new with very few plans.
